Loizos Konstantinou
Internship experience
My internship at the EUC MENA CCAF Centre came as part of my undergraduate studies. The internship provided opportunities to support the establishment of the centre, including contributing to its strategic direction and stakeholder engagement. In addition I undertook research on how regulators respond to technological innovation in financial services.
Working at the centre was a very rewarding experience and it provided me with opportunities to improve my organisational skills and my knowledge of financial services technology.
My colleagues were exceptionally intelligent and highly motivated, but also genuinely friendly and approachable, always willing to answer questions, share their expertise, and bring me into the conversation. It’s rare to find an environment that combines that level of ambition with that level of warmth and generosity. I would wholeheartedly recommend this internship to anyone who is highly motivated, self-motivated and eager to learn.
